Redpoll

Redpoll - (Carduelis flammea) - first of two of many photos taken of this bird that whilst remaining on show for some time, refused to move away from the many branches surrounding it into a clearer viewing position. The group had earlier seen a much darker specimen and there was some discussion as to whether this individual could be described as a "lesser" Redpoll.
