Verbascum sinuatum (Scrophularia)

One of the most common Verbascum species in the region, has strong stems occurring in sandy, rocky places, roadsides, grassy fields, waste ground etc. Flowers have violet-haired filaments whilst the basal leaves are wavy-margined.
