Welcome to the home page of John Pell.
The latest up-date, shown below, is that of this message which is to advise all viewers of my site that it is currently undergoing considerable changes and up-dates. I have an additional camera body, Canon EOS 7D and am partially retired, giving more time, hopefully, to concentrate on returning to photographing all things of the natural world and adding a more professional touch to my website. During this period, I, of course, welcome any constructive comments, suggestions etc that you may wish to leave for my guest book via the Contact Us section and thank you for viewing.

All entries, where possible are in systematic order, in the case of birds, by reference to and in accordance with the Collins Bird Guide. Lepidoptera follows British Moths and Butterflies by Chris Manley and Odonata in accordance with both Britain's Dragonflies by Dave Smallshire and Andy Swash and Dragonflies and Damselflies by Steve Brooks and Richard Lewington. Reference has also been made to the following: Collins Complete British Wildlife PhotoGuide and the Illustrated Flora of Mallorca by Elspeth Becket to whom I give credit and thanks.
